This video is courtesy of Michael Schaefer.  The very beginning of Mr. Schmidt's remarks were, unfortunately, not captured, but during nearly 9 minutes of the recording, you will hear about the trials and tribulations our parents, grandparents and relatives went through to escape the advancing Russian Army which eventually led to their settling in the USA.
